Well I'm not sure if it is Blogger that is messing up or if it is AOL. So bear with me. I'll repost this one once more.

Reed just provides me TONS of pictures for future embarrassment. :)PP & Chipboard Holly Leaves Basic Grey, CS Bazzill, Chipboard Letters, Rebekka Erickson, and buttons: Junitz I think.

Here is what I have done of my Explosion Box. Cardstock is Bazzill, PP: Sweetwater, Chipboard flower, hearts, bling frame, stamps: Heidi Swapp, Stamped sayings: Stampin Up, jewels: Westrim, Ribbon: May Arts. I hope to have this project completed soon, just don't have too many pictures of us together. So I have to dig out what I can and still keep it meaningful.

Well I am off to celebrate the new year.
I hope that you have a Blessed and Safe New Year!
~J~

I saw a layout using mosaics with different papers. I thought that might be fun with a picture. So I busted out one of my photo class self-portraits and had some fun. The picture is busted into 4 parts so that when I get a chance I can pour my heart into some hidden journaling. Letters are from Scenic Route, Lil Davis, Making Memories, Cricut, Spare Parts.
I love LOVE LOVE Rusty Pickle. These are Rusty Pickle letters and Blush from Basic Grey. I think they are a match made in heaven. They work so perfectly together. Got some ribbon from May Arts, and the Rhinestones from Westrim and Bling from Heidi Swapp, Technique Tuesday Whirlygig stamps. You can't tell by this pic but there is a jewel on the heart in the L, Bling on the top and bottom of our wedding pic, a bunch of jewels in the Whirlygig stamps and then down the back of the E on the little circles on the paper.
Blush, what more can I say? It is the perfect Valentines paper. All pp Basic Grey, Some cut by my Cricut, some punched. Chipboard accent is the new stuff from Lil Davis. paint by Making Memories
I don't know if you have ever seen one of these before, but they are called Explosion Boxes. It is made all of paper, when you take the top off the pages fall down. I'll show the inside as soon as I get a little in it. (Hopefully tomorrow)
One of Reed's big things lately is playing Knock Knock. Only problem is we get to _____ who? and then we start all over again at Knock Knock. Just one of those cute adorable things he does, that he won't remember.

I have been busy in my little room today/tonight. The day started off crappy with me not feeling good, but then I just decided I wasn't getting any better laying on the couch. So I did a little scrap therapy. I also entered my submissions for a manufacturer design team. Keep your fingers crossed. That is one of my new year's resolutions.

Look what came today! I am so excited to get new stamps. Thanks to all my friends who helped me out with the party!
My 1st attempt at a canvas. I think it turned out so good. It is 10x10. I made it for my mom for Christmas (a little late) but have decided she is going to have to wait, because I have to make another one or she can't have this one, LOL. Papers, card are from the Bohemia line. The stars are Heidi Swapp, ink is Tim Holtz and the R is Pressed Petals.
Thanks for looking.

Happy Birthday to Me!
Another year has gone by and it just feels like another day. I have scrapped all day, with the exception of shopping and I just ate some yummy cake that my hubby brought home. I'll post pictures tomorrow of all the stuff I have been working on. It is kind of weird working on my own stuff, I have been so busy with stuff for the store. But that is ok too! :)
Have a great day!

Just a fast update, we now don't have a phone. I don't know if the tree trimmers did it, or what. But AT&T's little computer that I got to talk to says we will be back up by Friday at 8pm. I hope so with all the problems around. The neighbors across the street still don't have any power. Poor TotTot and MiMi. But we do get to see them more often now. Every morning, so he can make his coffee. :)

The countdown has begun. A week from tomorrow and I will be done with school. Atleast for this semester. I have some stuff that I did for the store before the storm that I need to post. There is some stuff that I need to take pictures of and post. So much to do and I haven't began Christmas shopping. They have the countdown at work going, it is like 19 days until Christmas. I can't believe it!

The prettier side of an ice storm.

From what I hear it is the worst ice storm for the midwest since the 1970s.
I think these say it all...
Yes those are our power lines that tree is laying on.
The glistening of firetruck lights. We had to call 911. Once when the neighbors tree was on fire with the power line and then when the other neighbor had a fire on their patio from a power line. It was a night to remember.
Our neighbors backyard. The shed is toast.
Art and I are both shocked that most of this tree MISSED the house. Almost the whole thing is on the ground.
Our friends driveway. If you look up on the hill you can see their house.
WOOOOHOOOOO! Finally got power 20 minutes ago. We have been out since Thursday night. What a night that was. Watching the glowing blue sky next door (both sides) as transformers were going. The glowing orange next door when the live line hit the snow.
We stood on the front steps and listened to the cracking of branches throughout the neighborhood.
It was a LONG weekend with no power. How do you get through to a 3 year old that the tv is broke and he can't watch any of his favorite cartoons. Luckily we had the fireplace to heat the house, hot water and a gas stove top.
I have LOADS of pictures to share, will get them uploaded to Photobucket and on the blog asap.

What did I do before the Cricut? LOL. This is a bulletin board that my co-teacher and I did today. We are going to have the kids make up the rest of the story. Should be quite interesting.

It took a couple days, but here it is. The Sweetwater Christmas Countdown. I am putting things to do on it. Bake cookies, Decorate a tree for animals (we have birds, deer, etc.) I am still working on that part. Coming up with 24 is kind of hard.

I hope everyone had a great Turkey Day. It was great to spend time with my family. I am hating to see this 4 day weekend come to a close. Black Friday (I was off for a change) was good to me. I had built up enough store credit to buy a Cricut Personal Cutter. So now I have little die cut letters and saying all over my scraproom.
The Cricut has brought a room overhaul, I have been sifting through my messes and purging down.
I forgot to take pictures of the latest stuff I took to the store, so I'll have to go up there and snap some shots.
I did finish my Sweetwater Christmas countdown. I'll post that later.

This morning Art called me into the living room. He was watching this beautiful creature outside our picture window. I only got one shot, when I was trying to get a closer picture he flew off. I am thinking it is a Cooper's Hawk, but waiting to hear if I'm right.

Are you interested in stamps/stamping? I am currently having a Stampin' Up catalog party. If you are interested let me know. As of right now I am planning on closing on the 20th of November, but could make exceptions!
What a weekend. We did some chores outside and got everything ready for the coming cold. We had a little fun with the leaves. I LOVE Fall and I am sorry to see it coming to an end soon. Not sure I'm ready for Christmas just yet.
Here is a cute little bucket I did for the store. The papers are Deja Views. I was going for a not so cutesy look. (We have to get the guys into it somehow) LOL!

The blog is up for Scrapbook Factory YAY!http://www.scrapbookfactory.blogspot.com
I'm going to try to stay on top of it as best I can. I do know that there is so BIG news coming! Keep your eye out!

I thought these turned out so cute. I made these little invitations for Reed's 3rd birthday party. I LOVE when I can use up some scraps and make something cute. This will be the first party he gets to invite a couple friends from school.
This is another purse from Creative Imaginations BE Line. The pp is 3 Bugs in a Rug, a little Making Memories paint and some ribbon.
This is a puzzle from the BE Line. I don't know if you can tell that by the picture. It is all Bohemia by My Minds Eye. I piece of paper, a frame and some rub-ons. I waited to do this one last thinking it was going to be the hardest, when in fact the purse was. I was trying something new and funky, which isn't my style. But I like to challenge myself and try new things once in a while. Thanks for looking!

This is another one of those boards from Creative Imaginations BE Line. The paper is Deja Views and Making Memories paint.

Another one from the BE Line. This frame was so much fun to make. The paper is American Traditional Designs.
This tree has been sitting in my scraproom for about a month and a half. Waiting. It has been waiting for the perfect paper. I finally found it with the new Basic Grey Fruitcake line. A little Tim Holtz ink and tada! I am Loving it!!!! Now I am on the look out for the perfect redish paper for the base.

Persistance pays off sometimes, lol. Decided to try it one more time and look it works. WOOHOO. Reed was Woody from Toy Story this year. I think he liked the hat the best. We left work after the party. Came home and carved pumpkins. Unfortunately the pictures weren't very good of those.
Looks like I am having technical difficulties today. Won't let me load pictures. I have some new design team stuff and some cute Halloween pictures of Reed. I'll check back later and see if I can get them up. In the process of reorganizing the scraproom. (It is a disaster area right now)
Found this quote while I was cleaning that I thought I would share. "Creativity comes from a desire to express the true self" by Gloria Steinem.
Hope you are having a great day.

I am completely obessed with Heidi Swapp lately. I got her class book from Creative Escapes and there was this clock they made. I just HAD to have one, and here it is. I LOVE IT!!
Got some more fun projects . This first one is an address book from Traditions Studio. You can decorate or slide a picture in. The paper and tags are Basic Grey.
I figured I could put some tags on the inside to put your name and address in case it gets lost or just little notes.

Here is an adorable clipboard. The clipboard is Melissa Frances, papers and Elmo character are EK Success.
Another from the BE Line from Creative Imaginations. This is a wine holder. Paper, Bo Bunny; Ink, Tim Holtz
