Heart In Hand CT Remix and FKS DT

Sorry, these aren't the best pictures in the world.
This is Linda's Fall Banner Class from Heart In Hand, that I remixed for my best friend's baby shower. I used Basic Grey's new line Two Scoops.
Both of these layouts you can see at For Keeps Sake in St. Louis, MO. Otto got the lime light for once. LOL.

I forgot to date these while I had them in Photoshop, but I think I'll live, LOL. I'm 15 pictures behind.
A big cheezy smile from my beaner wearing cutie
Making some Crabby Patties. "Order up!"
Some of my ribbon collection, making my room colorful
A painting I started, now I just need to decide on a focal point for the middle.
There are a couple for now, I have to unload my card to get some more.
Hey everyone, I have fallen way behind on my posts for my pictures, I will try to make that up within the next few days. Back to the school grind and instead of going for 2 classes on Tues and Thurs during the day. I now have one class T & Th and one on Monday nights ACK!! I hate night classes. I hate having to rely on other people to watch Reed.
I have started to make stuff just for my private submitting blog. Right now there is a whole one thing over there and I am sure it is getting lonely. LOL.
I have fallen in love with journalling cards from this Etsy designer, Toni Rivera. She also designs for Magistical Memories Chipboard. Check out her stuff here.

I picked up these cute little stamps by Hero Arts (and one of the new ones by Basic Grey) and made up this card in a matter of minutes. I used some Scribbles 3D Paint for the little hearts. Add some Heidi Swapp hearts and TaDa!!

I stumbled across a post on 2Peas about a new upcoming stamp company, check them out, Unity Stamp Company. They will be debuting at Winter CHA. Speaking on Winter CHA, I am impatiently waiting to see the new Pink Paislee that my adorable friend Holly is designing.

Onto Project 365. I'm still going...
Reed and a couple of his friends at school and I built this cute little backyard. They thought I was nuts trying to build the swingset, but you should have seen them playing with it when it was done.
I actually had a tie for the picture of the day. I have one of Reed making "crabby patties" with dress up food. Cracked me up. Him and Spongebob. This is the wood section of my stamp collection. hehe. I love stamps. And since I threw my hat in the ring for Unity Stamp Co. Design Team today, I started using some stamps and thought this would be an appropriate picture for today. So keep your fingers crossed for me.

Have you picked your word for the year yet?? I'm still debating over a couple of them. If you don't know what I am taking about check out, here.

A New Year Means New Things

I have decided to try doing Project 365, you can read more about it over at Photojojo. Pretty much you take a picture each day to help you remember something that happened. I am going to try REALLY hard to keep up with this. I would promise to post them everyday, but we know how that would turn out.

Art and Reed having a wrestling match on the couch. I wish this picture was better, they were having so much fun.
My clean scrap area, I had just finished one of the CT projects for Heart In Hand. I'll share that later.
Today while I was scrapping some more and enjoying my last day of vacation I had the oil burner going with some fabulous Mango Tangerine from Party Lite. Love that smell.

Some other new happenings going on, over at Heart In Hand some of us have decided to start a Grateful Journal. This concept I got from Emily Falconbridge. Each week I will post an inspirational quote to get it started. (Our week just started on the 1st, so come join in) You can start your week whenever you want. We then post through the week, sharing what we have been grateful for.

And then the last project I have taken on is The Best Me Challenge over on Sarah Bowen's blog. Hopefully I can get a picture of my cards and get them up here. That way you guys can keep me honest that I am getting it all done.

Here is my Canvas for Heart in Hands Creative Team. We got to choose what projects we wanted to do. This one is by Jennifer Pohl. It was originally her Friends Canvas.

I LOVE that heart charm, they have them at Michael's in a bag of I would think 8 of various sizes and styles for $3.99. I might have to go back and get some more.

I also made my first magazine submission for the new year. (Another resolution) so I will post that after the 15th. With magazines having different protocol, I'd rather be safe than sorry. Which has got me thinking of starting a private blog for my scrappy stuff. That way I can share with my friends, but still keep it private for magazines. What do you think?

Well I think that is about it, I started a "lifestyle change" not a diet the day after my birthday. I am down to 1 soda a day (HUGE HUGE HUGE milestone) and drinking 4 bottles of water a day. And eating much better. So hopefully in the Spring when we get our family photos done I won't look so bad.

Have a great day, think about me as I drag myself into work for 1 day. Heehee
