I can't believe that it has been over two weeks since my last post. Time flies. I have been to a couple classes. (I'll have to post later) Work has moved to the summer schedule, so my schedule is consistent right now. I have some new Sassafras Lass stamps. They are really cool.
Busy trying to get things put together for my yard sale. I actually purged my scrap room for it.
I get to teach the school age children at work how to scrap. That should be pretty neat. I think I am going to do a tag book with them.
I'll add pics later.
Thanks for looking!

Well our little friends have found a home. :) I contacted the local bird shelter and they gave me the number to a nice lady who takes care of songbirds and mammals that are common. The "babies" are sparrows. The kids at work LOVED them. I wasn't too happy about slicing up worms, lol. But I got some good pics that I will be able to put into LOs this weekend at the crop.
Did you know that if you find some baby birds that have fallen out of their nest, they suggest that if you can't put them back in their nest to take a bowl and poke holes in the bottom, line it with napkins and tuck it into the tree they fell out of. Watch for a couple hours to see if the mother bird comes back to take care of them. If she doesn't you need to seek help. They can live briefly (until you find help, since the little buggers need to be fed every 20 minutes) on dried kitten food, smashed up with warm water. Make it the consitency of watery oatmeal. (2 parts water to 1 part food)
So besides all that, not much is going on. I am in the process of putting together preschool graduation, completing my final project and now I have decided to go back (what do I mean back, I never left) to get my associates degree in Early Childhood. I always put it off, saying to myself that I wouldn't stay in this line of work, but after 18 years, I guess I am here for good. :) I am working on a scholarship as we speak. So that is always good news.
Ok off to get ready for the crop and everything else. Thanks for reading my ramblings.

Spring has Sprung around here. Or should I say a few feathered friends have sprung out of their nest. Our neighbor was nice enough to pick them up out of our driveway so we didn't hit them, but I guess he forgot that doing that is a big no no. I haven't seen momma bird since then. Everytime we go outside, Reed runs over to them and squats down to stare at them and tell me over and over. "My birds, my baby birds." So we fed them worms when Art got home and put them in a box to keep them in the house and warm tonight. I'm not sure if they will make it through the night, but we will try to help them on their journey.

Woohoo the telephone repairman was just here and my computer is flying now. LOL. Yes, we are still on dial-up. We have no choice, if we wanted DSL or the such we would pretty much need to put a tower on our property. Oh well. Now that I am connecting at 36.6 instead of 4.8, I'm MUCH happier.
Now maybe I can get some stuff up.
The first LO is of Reed's Preschool Class. It is coming time for him to move up to the 3 year old class, so I wanted him to be able to look back and see all his friends.
"Our Lil Artist" As you can tell my the great look of concentration Reed LOVED LOVED LOVED the experience of being able to paint. I took LOTS of pictures as he made a huge mess. But it was a lot of fun for both of us.
I love being able to give him the experiences that not every child might. Being a preschool teacher, I have a lot of resources that some might not. And I hope that it makes our little man all that more well rounded. Mentally, Physically, Artistically, etc.
Well I hope everyone is well and having a great week. (It's almost half over :) )
