Playing some today

I tell ya what, it feels great to scrap. This Sweetwater paper just works with so many projects and I plan to use every last scrap of this paper. I LOVE IT! The frame is from Hobby Lobby in the Easter section (40% off, love a good bargain) I think I might hang this over my desk.

FKS has gotten in these cool new products made by KaiserCraft (check them out at www.kaisercraft.com.au ) I picked their board book to play with. It is perfect for 4x6 pictures. I have just started scrapping my wedding recently and this Classic patterned paper from Sweetwater was so perfect. I still have some embellishing to do, but I was so excited about how it turned out I told some people I would get it up on the blog asap. So I hope you enjoy. I know I do!

FKS Easter Eggs

Each Instructor/Design Team Member at ForKeepsSake were given a paper egg to decorate as we please. I wanted to share mine. I think it is quite glitzy. Love Bling!

I used Making Memories white and glitter glaze ( I use this one EVERYTHING) my assorted flowers punches and Westrim for my bling. (Or Diamonds as Reed says)

Look for all the eggs at the gazebo at FKS.

All About Me Mini Book

I sent out an email looking for used gift cards, with no avail. Then I found a challenge on 2Peas, the lady sent us old Starbucks gift cards. And here are a few pages from my mini book. I used the Bind It All Zutter to punch the holes and add the binding ( I LOVE this machine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Papers are the new Sweetwater with all kinds of rub ons and stickers. I am still messing with this book, adding and taking stuff off. The prima on the cover has been taken off and moved. Thanks for looking!

Meet My New Niece or Nephew

Yep, for those of you that don't know, my little sister is pregnant. She is due on our grandpa's birthday, September 6th. In 6 weeks, she gets to find out what it is.

Perpetual Calendar Class

Well since I just burned myself on the fireplace, I thought I would upload some more class stuff while I sat here with some ice on my hand. ( I know what a genious move ) This class will be offered on May 13th 2:00-4:00pm. The paper will be different, this was just done so that I could get it approved. If you like this paper it is one of Sweetwater's new line, Classic. I love it. It seems that red, black and cream are the "new rage" Chipboard is Fancy Pants of course and in the middle of the flower is a Scrapworks Hug.

Some Changes

As you can see I am revamping the blog a bit. I have added my class schedule in the side bar and I am currently trying to find directions to change my header. If you happen to know them or where to find them, please let me know.

I have been playing a lot on Tammy's site (check the side bar for a link) She is REALLY close to launching the boutique! I am so excited for her, and I can't wait to play. She has a forum and her gallery, if you haven't seen it...you are missing out! Those are already live, so check it out.
