I had to share these, I thought that they turned out SO cute! The paper is Capn Jack from Rusty Pickle, the stamps for the map are Purple Onion Designs and the red bling in his eye is Heidi Swapp. I hope the ladies love them as much as I do.

Wow, my class pictures are up on the store's site before my blog. Let me take a few minutes to catch up for those that pay attention to this place. (Sorry I have been a bad blogger)

This is my Rusty Pickle Eggs Mini Book Class. It was the sneek peak I gave you last time I blogged. Saturday, March 24th from 2pm-4pm. $15.00. Space is limited.

These are two pictures from my Sesame Street Colors Board Book Class. This is scheduled to be on Friday, April 20th 10:30-12:30. $15.00. You will need to bring 2 pictures for each color. (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple)

This is my Time Layout. This class date is still being worked on since we had to order the chipboard. Can you see Tammy and Christine in it?? :)
There are a couple more classes sitting here, but I haven't gotten the ok for them just yet. I'm almost done with my Mom mini book and I'll have that up. It is like the Eggs book, but using SEI's Winnie Walls.

Here is it, your sneek peak...
Yep that is it. If you want to see more you will have to visit the store or wait. Isn't that paper yummy? You just can't go wrong with Rusty Pickle!! This line is called Chocolate Bunny.
Just got off the phone with the store, this class will be offered on March 24th from 2pm-4pm. $15 There are only 12 spots available. So get them while their hot! 314-487-8131. http://www.forkeepssake.typepad.com/
Wow, it's been a while since my last post. Things are busy, busy around here. Earlier this week, I went and applied for another job. I am officially a teacher at For Keeps Sake in South County. (St. Louis) Looks like my first class is going to be at the end of March, unless I can get something else put together before then. I am working hard on that, plus I joined their design team. So that is 2 DTs I am currently on. I am having a blast! It is great to be able to do what you love and share it with others.
I got to meet Theresa Tyree, she is one of the Swappin Divas that I have been talking to on the internet. She is also a new instructor at FKS. Check out her blog http://mymiraculouslife.blogspot.com/. She has a lot of great stuff there AND she is getting ready to have a challenge with a great RAK.
She also has the link to the What Paper are You Quiz. Which I thought was quite funny. I am Bazzill cardstock, LOL. Here is what it said, "Your style is pretty laid back. You enjoy straight linear pages and although you don't mind experimenting with all the newest products, your favorite pages always seem to be the ones with solid colors. With 130 custom textured and over 300 total cardstock colors to choose from, you're sure to find what you need in bazzill paper and you like it!"
I'm uploading the pictures of my first class and will give you a sneek peak in just a minute. I hope you love Rusty Pickle!!

Sorry for being such a poor blogger lately. Things are always busy around here. We had a great snow (I still have to load the snowman pics in) and over on TwoPeas they had CHA in Spirit Day. A bunch of us put together challenges throughout the day to do for prizes. It was SO much fun! I was completely wiped out and I only got a couple LOs finished. But I wanted to share them with you. I am still working on some others.

Been busy at work, I volunteered to move classes. I am now the head teacher for the toddler class. Should be a lot of fun, I have been working extra hours to get everything the way I want it. We are also knocking down 2 of the walls where the old office was and I get that extra room. Woohoo. So I will probably be working this weekend too.

School is crazy, I just finished a 3-5 page research paper and now we are onto 5-7 pages. He already said that our last one will be 13-15 pages. I am SO not looking forward to that.

I am anxious to get to the store and see what Ann has ordered from CHA. I LOVE getting to play with all the new product. It has been a while since I had to work for the store.

CKC (Creating Keepsakes Convention) is coming up in April. I am already signed up and will also be TAing a lot again. My schedule is:

Thursday night- TA 5:30-9:00
Friday- 8:30-10:30 Rusty Pickle Everything Mini Album
Shop Shop Shop :) Maybe TA a bit
6pm-8pm- Card Swap

Saturday- Acrylic Mania II 8:30-9:30
I Can See Clearly Now 9:50-10:50
10x20 Canvas Wall Hanging 11:10-12:10
Chalk it Up to Love 1:50-2:50
TA 3:00-6:00

Have a great day!

I have a question for you. At what point do you call someone your friend instead an acquaintance? In such a busy world, do we call people friends just to make them feel good?

All kinds of weird thoughts running through my mind. I started my morning pages this morning. I am going to have to learn to set some more time aside to do them. (If you are wondering what I am talking about, I started reading "The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron) She suggests that you write 3 pages a day to clear the clutter out of your mind and get the creative juices flowing.
I guess if I am going to try to accomplish some things, I need that creativity.

Classes start on Tuesday at the college, so that will eat up a lot of time. I have a few little things to post, but will do it later. I want to make sure that they are perfect.

Love & Light.

Well the fun has begun! We had a small ice storm last night, where only the trees and things off of the ground got a nice coat of ice. Art just walked in saying that he heard some trees starting to break. So here we go again. We have 2 more waves of ice coming our way. One today and one Sunday. Hopefully we will keep power, but I made sure that everything was ready yesterday. So we are atleast a bit more prepared than last time, if the power should go out.

On a better note, they found the young man that was kidnapped on Monday in Missouri and another young man that had been kidnapped 4 years ago with him. They said that they seem to be physically ok.

I'll be adding things as I finish them off. I just put the finishing touches on this one. Worked on it some last night at the crop with my partner in crime Ish. We had a lot of fun. I don't think she understands my style. I glue/gel medium something and then start into another project while that sets up. LOL
I got the idea for this layout from Ali Edwards' AEzine. She said to choose a word for the year. As soon as I finished reading that sentence I knew what my word would be. As I drove to work thinking about it, the layout just came together. I love it when that happens (which isn't often, LOL). It is such a cool feeling to see something that you make up in your head come to paper.

Buy 15 Bazzill get 15 FREE!! Now how could I pass that up? So I drove to the store and bought me a bunch. Who doesn't need Bazzill?
I'm croppin for the first time with some friends at the store on Friday, so I am sitting here trying to decide what I am gonna take with me. Gotta make some page packs. I hear that is the way to do it. We will see what I will actually get done. LOL

Well I'm not sure if it is Blogger that is messing up or if it is AOL. So bear with me. I'll repost this one once more.

Reed just provides me TONS of pictures for future embarrassment. :)PP & Chipboard Holly Leaves Basic Grey, CS Bazzill, Chipboard Letters, Rebekka Erickson, and buttons: Junitz I think.

Here is what I have done of my Explosion Box. Cardstock is Bazzill, PP: Sweetwater, Chipboard flower, hearts, bling frame, stamps: Heidi Swapp, Stamped sayings: Stampin Up, jewels: Westrim, Ribbon: May Arts. I hope to have this project completed soon, just don't have too many pictures of us together. So I have to dig out what I can and still keep it meaningful.

Well I am off to celebrate the new year.
I hope that you have a Blessed and Safe New Year!
~J~

I saw a layout using mosaics with different papers. I thought that might be fun with a picture. So I busted out one of my photo class self-portraits and had some fun. The picture is busted into 4 parts so that when I get a chance I can pour my heart into some hidden journaling. Letters are from Scenic Route, Lil Davis, Making Memories, Cricut, Spare Parts.
I love LOVE LOVE Rusty Pickle. These are Rusty Pickle letters and Blush from Basic Grey. I think they are a match made in heaven. They work so perfectly together. Got some ribbon from May Arts, and the Rhinestones from Westrim and Bling from Heidi Swapp, Technique Tuesday Whirlygig stamps. You can't tell by this pic but there is a jewel on the heart in the L, Bling on the top and bottom of our wedding pic, a bunch of jewels in the Whirlygig stamps and then down the back of the E on the little circles on the paper.
Blush, what more can I say? It is the perfect Valentines paper. All pp Basic Grey, Some cut by my Cricut, some punched. Chipboard accent is the new stuff from Lil Davis. paint by Making Memories
I don't know if you have ever seen one of these before, but they are called Explosion Boxes. It is made all of paper, when you take the top off the pages fall down. I'll show the inside as soon as I get a little in it. (Hopefully tomorrow)
One of Reed's big things lately is playing Knock Knock. Only problem is we get to _____ who? and then we start all over again at Knock Knock. Just one of those cute adorable things he does, that he won't remember.

I have been busy in my little room today/tonight. The day started off crappy with me not feeling good, but then I just decided I wasn't getting any better laying on the couch. So I did a little scrap therapy. I also entered my submissions for a manufacturer design team. Keep your fingers crossed. That is one of my new year's resolutions.

Look what came today! I am so excited to get new stamps. Thanks to all my friends who helped me out with the party!
My 1st attempt at a canvas. I think it turned out so good. It is 10x10. I made it for my mom for Christmas (a little late) but have decided she is going to have to wait, because I have to make another one or she can't have this one, LOL. Papers, card are from the Bohemia line. The stars are Heidi Swapp, ink is Tim Holtz and the R is Pressed Petals.
Thanks for looking.

Happy Birthday to Me!
Another year has gone by and it just feels like another day. I have scrapped all day, with the exception of shopping and I just ate some yummy cake that my hubby brought home. I'll post pictures tomorrow of all the stuff I have been working on. It is kind of weird working on my own stuff, I have been so busy with stuff for the store. But that is ok too! :)
Have a great day!

Just a fast update, we now don't have a phone. I don't know if the tree trimmers did it, or what. But AT&T's little computer that I got to talk to says we will be back up by Friday at 8pm. I hope so with all the problems around. The neighbors across the street still don't have any power. Poor TotTot and MiMi. But we do get to see them more often now. Every morning, so he can make his coffee. :)

The countdown has begun. A week from tomorrow and I will be done with school. Atleast for this semester. I have some stuff that I did for the store before the storm that I need to post. There is some stuff that I need to take pictures of and post. So much to do and I haven't began Christmas shopping. They have the countdown at work going, it is like 19 days until Christmas. I can't believe it!
