Is this not the MOST ADORABLE little monster you ever did see? Yeah I think so too. I shot these the other day when we were having picture day at work. The lady went off to talk to the boss and since Reed was already climbing all over the table I sat him down and finished off the roll. You just gotta love him.

There has been a little helper in my room this weekend. He is getting so good with scissors. He is ahead of most of the kids in his class.
Another spooky Halloween card. I love love love this holiday! Paper Heidi Grace
I decided to try something new. So here is my very first matchbook card. Paper Junkitz, Flower and brad: Making Memories, Staples: Fastenator - Thank you I have decided that I need to figure out a way to incorporate his beautiful paintings into my pages or make him another mini book. He LOVES to get into my supplies. He is so creative. I can say with pride. HE GOT THAT FROM ME, LOL.
The rain has come WOOHOO. We need it. I have to think about getting ready to head out. Wish me luck!
Ever since I decided to go out for 2 design teams, I have tried to push myself to make atleast 1 project a day. Some days would just be ideas, but a lot has actually come to paper and look Marvelous![I'm not gonna throw in a Billy Crystal type reference here :) ] Well today is the day for the Design Team tryout at Scrapbook Factory. And these are a few things I will be taking with me. I hope they like them.
Around the picture it says. [Top] You are our... [Right] whole life [Left] Pride and joy [Bottom] Reed '06 *Paper: Basic Grey, Chipboard Letters: Scenic Route, Stickers: Wordsworth, Heart: Heidi Swapp, Paint: Making Memories*

I had SO much fun with this little box. I think you might be able to tell by the amount of glitter that is currently on the floor. :) *Paper: Heidi Grace, Ribbon: May Arts, Chipboard Accent: KI Memories, Box: Michael's*

I came across a similar box posted on 2peas. It seems they did something like this at the Creative Escape Retreat with Heidi Swapp. ( http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/mb.asp?cmd=display&thread_id=1949630 )
I started this J back when I did that Altered Letter Swap with the Divas. I put the paper on and then it just sat on my table. Well I LOVE it now. And will hang it up when I get back today. *Paper:Basic Grey, Flowers: Heidi Swapp, Paint: Making Memories, Ink: Ranger, Ribbon & Book Plate: Unknown
I have a couple more things to share. Be back in a bit

I just got the letter yesterday. I have been asked to join Phi Theta Kappa at the college! I am pretty excited. Now Art is calling me "Nerdette". I have also joined the Visual Arts Club. I should have done all of this years ago, but oh well, no better time than now!
I am also preparing to go for a Design Team Tryout on Sunday. Wish me luck!!

The chill is in the air and I am feeling the Halloween urges already. lol. If you know me well, you know that All Hallow's Eve is my favorite holiday. I love the colors and the temperatures. I have started planning the Fall Festival at work which has also gotten me in the holiday cheer :) So since I got to come home early today (worked OT yesterday) I got to working and made this adorable Halloween bag. I think I will make them for Reed's class party.

Speaking of storms, check out this wall cloud that I shot while on my way home. I am just in awe of the size of it. You should have seen the looks I got when I pulled off the road and took this picture.
I made this card for my grandpa's birthday. I used KI Memories paper and a sweet quote from the PeaSoup on 2Peas.
I made this card for the Card Swap on Swappin' Divas. I got the idea from Paper Crafts magazine. They have the how-to on their website. Super easy and an Awesome Card. I used Making Memories paint(honeydew), Bat Mask : Heidi Swapp and ribbon from Michaels.
I did this one for my grandparent's wedding anniversary. This card is actually based off of one of the new Becky Fleck's sketches (www.pagemaps.com) The paper is Sweetwater (thanks to Tammy for turning me onto it!) and flowers are Primas. Just some ribbon I have laying around.

My grandparents live by a horse farm. So after the celebrations we took a walk to see all the beautiful animals. I love horses. My cousins call this beautiful Palimino, Surfer Dude. And I just loved the way the group picture looked. They started walking up to take cover from an upcoming storm.

This is one of my swaps at Swappin' Divas. A 12 Months Book. Each one of us does a month and then we swap them, to make a complete book. I can't wait to see everyones. Paper:Rusty Pickle, Cardstock: Bazzill.
I did this for my desk at work. After a major hunt for the right letters, I think it turned out wonderful. Letters are Rusty Pickle, Papers: Basic Grey, Flowers: Heidi Swapp, Ribbon: May Arts
I saw a similar clip in a magazine, and thought that this would be a great teacher gift. I got the clip from Oriental Trading. Papers are Karen Foster and Christina Cole ( I hope I spelled that right)

More to come!

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for being a blog slacker. There has been lots going on. Relatives from Texas came in and then The Scrapbook Tour and lots of swap to catch up on. We also had Art's dad's Memorial Race yesterday. It is part of the county fair. So I thought I would share a couple pics. What is a county fair without funnel cakes and rides, LOL.
Thanks for looking

There was a challenge during the CHA in Spirit day that got me thinking. I know, thinking is bad and it hurts your head. :) But here is what I came up with. It is a bit different, but so am I. lol. Journaling is under the photo. The letters are Heidi Swapp ghost letters traced in black. The stamps are Elsie Flannigan's (of course).

Went on a date with my hubby yesterday. He picked the St. Louis Arch, which was wonderful. I hadn't been there in a long time and neither had he. I wanted to share a few pictures I took while we were there.

Hey Everyone,
I played on 2Peas last night as they had a "party" CHA in Spirit Day. While a bunch of fellow Peas were up at CHA (Crafts and Hobby Association) Convention, we were scrappin away. I got some LOs done that have had the pictures just sitting here forever. And I got another Reed book done. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how this one turned out. I haven't decided if I want to make tags for it (I left little pockets on the side if I wanted to).

~Sunday Blog Challenge-2Peas~
Name one scrap item that you are dying to have. That would be the Wishblade. I will have it, one day. :)

I have a few new things to share today. I finished up the clipboard that I was working on the other weekend and just finally got a picture of it. Also I did a layout last night for a challenge on 2Peas. They are working out of Ali Edwards' new pattern paper book. The first challenge was to dig in your stash and pull out 6 different patterned papers at random and 3 pictures. Cut them into squares and make a layout. I never realized how much I use stripes and circles in my stuff, lol.
TFL!

Went to For Keepsake yesterday. Got to take a class with Elsie Flannigan. I tell you what she is the sweetest thing!! This was the 2nd time I met her. We did the Hometown Mini-Album. Of course, I am still working on it, LOL. But I did want to share this picture of Elsie and I. I even won one of her prizes in her trivia contest!!

Happy Weekend Everyone! I have been busy as a bee this weekend. I have been debating on applying for a DT, so I have been working on some things this weekend and wanted to share. The altered letter is for a swap I joined. This has been SOOO much fun. I love how this letter turned out. I'm loving Color Me Silly by Basic Grey.
Then the lunch box (Basic grey) with Heidi Grace papers and stickers. It is so cute.
I am working on a clipboard with the Color Me Silly papers, also.
Lots of stuff going on. Made it over to the progressive sale at For Keepsake, bought lots of good stuff for 60% off AND signed up for Elsie Flannigan's Hometown Class!!!! I can't believe there was still space available. They said there are openings in all of the classes. I found that so hard to believe. Elsie is the BOMB! I met her at CKC and got to talk to her a little bit. Glad she will be teaching her own stuff this time.

Saturday Night Live takes the cake!! LOL. I guess this means that scrapping is BIG. Check out the SNL skit about The Secret World of Scrapbooking. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_duMORCX0EU

I wanted to share my Scenic Route Journal that I did for a Manufacturer's Challenge on the Pub Calls Blog. I thought it turned out soo cute. I even changed the papers inside of it to cardstock to coordinate. I love it.

Hey everyone, I took another one of Tammy's fab classes and wanted to share my altered clock. It will work with all the other BG Oh Baby altered stuff in my scrap/office. Art has finally spoke up and said he would have liked brighter colors instead of the pastels. lol.

Also, yesterday was our wedding anniversary, and he made me his first scrapbook page.:) The ABC's of Me. I guess I'll keep him, lol.

ETA~Updated my picture with the hands on the clock. Had to go get a new set

I don't know what it is about Basic Grey's Oh Baby Line, but I have sure taken a liking to it. Everything I have done in the last couple days, starting with the magnet board has been this paper. I guess is just kind of works with a house full of men, LOL.
Anyways, I wanted to share the picture frame that I made for my grandpa for Father's Day and a notebook I altered to match my BG fetish. LOL.
Thanks for looking

The week is almost over!! I have been pretty busy . Looks like I will take over the morning Director spot at work. School is a bit chaotic, needless to say I won't do Summer classes anymore. And between all that and Reed and Art, I have snuck off for some me time and got a couple projects done. The picture frame I did for my boss. The magnet board Art made and I covered it in Basic Grey, Oh Baby! Series. (I even did the Making Memories containers in it, lol) The epoxy words and Magnetic 2 Ring Clip are Provo Craft. I think they turned out marvelous. I will be adding things as I find the "perfect" embellishments for it.

Well was home with a lil one with an ear infection today, so I got a couple things done. I wanted to share my stamp collection. My uncle build this for me many moons ago, when I collected miniatures. Of course, being the packrat that I am, I still had it. It dawned on me the other day that it would be perfect for my stamps. Thanks for looking!

As we were leaving yesterday for a race in Charleston, Art grabbed the mail. And in it was my acceptance for my scholarship!!!!! It will pay 80% of school, books, etc! What a wonderful program. So now I am definately on track with getting my associates in Early Childhood. No more putting it off.
Just wanted to share, now back to bed, lol. We didn't get home until 2:30 this morning.
Have a great day!

Happy June Everyone! Now that I am done with Food Sanitation Classes (they were enough to make me not eat anymore!) I got down to business. I took an altered letter class that my friend Tammy taught. And just loved the class. (I made the K in class) So I decided to make another one for my "dad". I hope he likes it, now I just have to finish the scrapbook from his 60th birthday party.
